Strong Warrior Yoga is a class for everyone from chair yoga students to advanced students. All are welcome! This class adds hand weights to your yoga poses and flows and focuses on strength-building postures, breathing techniques, and meditation. Strengthen your body and mind. Yoga improves respiratory function, balance, flexibility, muscle strength, mood, and metabolism. It reduces anxiety, blood pressure, and heart rate. Join us Tuesdays and enjoy the benefits of resistance training and the community of yogis building a strong mind, body, and community.
Fundamentals of Hatha Yoga breathing techniques, poses and flows. Strengthen the body and calm the mind with mindful movement practice for health and wellness. No class on 7/4/23 or 7/6/23

Reinforce the fundamental of Hatha Yoga and explore more challenging poses and flows. Expanding on breathing techniques, hand gestures, and pose enhancers. Explore advanced poses in a very supportive non - competitive environment. No class on 7/4/23 or 7/6/23

Yoga poses are easily adaptable to a chair. Most poses on the mat can be modified. We use the same classic poses and flows and Always, emphasize breathing and relaxation techniques. No class on 7/5/23 or 7/19/23.

Class will resume in October 2024. This class is held at Central Valley High School Sylvester Wellness Center learn and practice Moon Saluations and cooling relaxing poses to end the day with. We practice restorative postures and silent meditation at the end of each practice. No experience necessary, easy to learn, and easy to follow.
This class is at a discounted rate of $10 to benefit our community. This class is open to the general public.

Join us on Tuesdays from 9:30 am- 10:30 am for Strong Warrior Yoga. This class is for everyone from chair yoga students to advanced yoga students. This class is simple and effective. We focus on our breathing and practice several yoga breathing techniques for stronger respiratory muscles as well as calming our mind. Build strength and community and join us.
